Araba Panford is an attorney in our Las Vegas Office. Araba grew up in Massachusetts and attended Northeastern University for undergraduate studies. In August of 2015 she moved to New Orleans to study law at Loyola University. Due to the impact of hurricane Katrina she completed her first semester of law school at Pennsylvania State before returning to New Orleans to complete her legal education. During her studies, she was accepted into the law clinic and was sworn in as student practitioner to represent criminal defendants. Araba obtained her J.D and Certificate in International Law in 2008.
Araba was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2008 and the Massachusetts Bar in 2015. The early part of her career was spent representing subcontractors in construction defect litigation. Later on, she accepted a position as field counsel for an international insurance company. During her tenure as field counsel she represented insured individuals in personal injury matters throughout mediations, arbitrations and trials.
Araba has extensive litigation experience as a defense attorney. She has represented a full spectrum of clients, including entertainers, construction companies and both domestic and foreign manufacturers. Araba has achieved favorable results throughout her legal career and on numerous occasions successfully negotiated settlements below case value. Araba continues to remain committed to addressing the individual needs of her clients and achieving the best possible outcome for each case.
