Craig S. Jones has over 27 years experience defending businesses, public entities and individuals from claims for catastrophic bodily injury, construction defects, property loss, product liability and real estate disputes. He has successfully litigated hundreds of complex and high exposure lawsuits through mediation, arbitration and trial.
EXPERIENCE IN CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
A substantial number of cases Mr. Jones has litigated have involved construction delays, mechanics’ liens, construction deficiencies, contractor’s licensing board matters and surety claim investigations.
He has litigated a broad range of projects including commercial, residential and public works projects, including public buildings, multi-story construction, commercial and residential projects.

Fire Loss – Handled complex litigation matter with multiple retail claimants successfully resolving claims on behalf of general contractor in major fire loss matter.
Construction Defect – Litigated complex multi-million-dollar defect matter in mixed use shopping center and parking garage on behalf of general contractor.

Land Subsidence Claims Settlement – Successful pre-litigation resolution of apartment builder/developer in multi-party land subsidence claim brought by adjoining businesses and owners in San Francisco project.
Defect Claims Settlement – Successful prosecution and settlement of defect claims on behalf of developer against general contractor and trades in construction of 400+ unit apartment complex.
HOA Lawsuit – Defense of developer in multi-unit high rise condo defect lawsuit in East Bay.

Traumatic Brain Injury – Defense and favorable resolution of multimillion dollar product liability suit against equipment distributor for claims of traumatic brain injuries by injured workers.
Motor vehicle – Favorable resolution for public entity of multimillion dollar auto-pedestrian amputation claim.
