About
Eric Goodman is an Associate Attorney at Mokri Vanis & Jones. After earning both his Associates of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Eric attended Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, California, in the evenings, while clerking for some of California’s most prestigious plaintiff’s personal injury firms during the day.
Prior to law school Eric worked as an underwriter for one of the nation’s top three liability insurers. During his law studies Eric represented Lincoln Law School in the statewide 2015 negotiations competition and was awarded the Juris Prudence award in Legal Analysis. Upon admittance to the California Bar in 2018, Eric worked as in-house counsel for one of the top five largest insurers in the United States representing it’s insured in a wide variety of general liability matters, including automobile accidents, subrogation claims, dog bites, slip and falls/premises liability and general negligence actions.
Eric joined MVJ in 2025, and prides himself on his motion practice. Throughout his career he has achieved numerous judgments and/or dismissals on behalf of his clients through the use of dispositive motions. Eric is passionate about his work and zealously represents his clients to obtain the most efficient and desirable result throughout the litigation process. Outside of work, Eric donates his time to local law school’s trial advocacy programs and enjoys spending time with his two sons.
