Special Independent Counsel for Mokri Vanis & Jones, LLP, Eric has been a defense lawyer in California and in Colorado since the early 1990s. He has spent the past 25+ years in the construction field, primarily focused on construction defect claims, while also handling construction site accident claims and construction contract disputes. Eric’s clients over the years have included developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in nearly every trade in residential construction. He also has defended general contractors, framers, roofers, concrete subcontractors, plumbers, electricians, waterproofers, and runway grooving companies in commercial construction disputes. Eric’s vast litigation experience includes spending the first seven years of his practice defending insureds sued for personal injuries related to product failures, auto and truck collisions, slip/trip and fall incidents, and even dog bite cases, as well as the defense of insurance professionals in negligence claims, and commercial property owners sued for ADA violations.
