Garrett A. Marshall is an Associate Attorney at Mokri Vanis & Jones in its Newport Beach office. Garrett has over seventeen years of experience in civil litigation and dispute resolution and is licensed to practice in California and Illinois. Garrett is known for his attention to detail and his unwavering commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients, both in and out of the courtroom.

Throughout his career, Garrett has successfully litigated cases in state and federal courts and before various arbitration panels. Garrett’s practice spans a wide range of civil litigation matters. He has developed particular depth in general negligence and premises liability personal injury claims, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and property damage subrogation cases.

Prior to joining Mokri Vanis & Jones, Garrett’s practice included civil litigation defense work in private practice and as in-house counsel at an international insurance company and at the nation’s second-largest public transportation system. Earlier in his career, Garrett also worked on the plaintiff’s side of aisle as a trial attorney and served for many years as a court-ordered arbitration volunteer panelist.

Outside of work, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, visiting family and friends, going hiking and to the beach, watching sports, and coaching Little League baseball.
