Jaclyn (aka Jacki R. Chan) has litigated and defended construction defect, personal injury, and medical malpractice cases, and has also served as in-house counsel for finance and investment companies. She was born and raised in San Francisco, and graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Theatre and minor in Hospitality Management. Jacki then worked as a professional model, stunt performer, and touring musician before embarking on a legal career. As a law student, she worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, competed as a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board, and was named “Best Oral Advocate.” She received multiple CALI Excellence Awards for highest merits, and was placed on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. She obtained her J.D. from Whittier Law School with a double-concentration in Trial Advocacy and Criminal Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2012, and Central District Federal Court in 2016.
