James is an Associate Attorney at Mokri Vanis & Jones' Newport Office, where he practices personal injury, real estate transactions, trade secrets disputes, premises liability, workers compensation defense, construction defect, and insurance fraud matter. He began his journey with the firm in 2022 as a law clerk and transitioned to an attorney role in 2023.

Born and raised in Orange County, James graduated from the University of San Diego in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree in Environmental Studies. During his time at USD, he was actively engaged in philanthropic events, including a top 5 finish in a school-wide competition focused on addressing local social issues. He partnered with RefugeeNet to design a water conservation education program for refugee communities in City Heights and received a cash award to implement the project and develop educational materials. Following his undergraduate studies, James pursued his law degree at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York.
