For over 20 years Kevin has served as counsel for developers and general contractors in all aspects of real estate acquisition, construction contracting and litigation. He frequently serves as outside general counsel to several companies and has consequently developed a robust corporate and business litigation practice.
CONSTRUCTION
Kevin represents several of the largest developers in North America through all aspects of (i) construction, (ii) risk mitigation, and (iii) litigation. As a California native, Kevin also works with many regional builders on development of construction documents, land purchasing and defense of litigation. He is routinely asked to provide in-house training to developers and general contractors on legal compliance, risk management, and best practices.
Kevin has defended claims through all aspects of litigation, including arbitration and trial, ranging from simple property line disputes to complex construction disputes in excess of $500 million.
CORPORATE
Kevin routinely assists companies in drafting corporate documents, creation of subsidiaries and compliance with corporate formalities. On the litigation side, Kevin works in litigation among business partners or on behalf of companies in all facets of disputes.
REGULATORY
Working both nationally and internationally, Kevin provides regulatory guidance to companies in the medical and technology fields as well as to several large retailers.
