Richard practices in a variety of legal fields including general litigation, insurance defense, construction defect, bodily injury, landlord-tenant disputes, and employment litigation. He is well-versed in the practice of litigation, including drafting complex legal analysis, discovery, law and motion, alternative dispute resolution, trials and appeals. Richard approaches each cases from a diverse perspective drawn from his far-ranging legal experience.
Prior to joining Mokri Vanis & Jones, Richard was a Senior Associate at Archer Norris where he specialized in construction defect litigation and personal injury insurance defense. Prior to that, he worked as an associate attorney at the McMahon Lynch Law Firm, Inc. During law school, Richard served as a judicial extern to the Assistant Presiding Judge Teri Jackson of the San Francisco Superior Court and clerked for the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. Richard also served as the Law Review’s Executive Editor of Notes and Comments. In addition, he tutored several classes and worked as a Research Assistant.
