Yahya is an Associate Attorney at Mokri Vanis & Jones’s Newport Beach location. His practice areas include Premises Liability, Insurance Coverage, Workers Compensation, and Employment. Yahya has been with Mokri Vanis & Jones as an Attorney since 2025.

Yahya was born in Southern California and raised equally split between the east coast and the west coast. He attended his undergraduate studies at California State University: Long Beach and graduated with a degree in Political Science in 2018. During his time at CSULB, Yahya worked alongside the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to produce an investigative documentary on “Hidden Communities.” This project led to the many unhoused individuals receiving aid that they were not aware existed and protections against detrimental elements previously unknown to LAHSA.

Yahya initially intended to immediately become a foreign service officer upon graduation from CSULB, however, he detoured to Law School in an effort to have a broader understanding of the law, constitution, and conflict resolving capabilities. Yahya attended classes at Chapman University: Dale E. Fowler School of Law and graduated in 2024.
